The Adams Park Tennis Association (APTA) was founded in 1989 by a group of friends introduced to tennis and to each other at Adams Park, a public park located in the city of Atlanta, Georgia. The members have come to be known as the “Gentlemules” signifying their passion for tennis and strong will to succeed in tennis and in life.
